DESCRIPTION:About The Class \nThe Japanese Children’s Day (こどもの日 Kodomo no Hi) is a National holiday in Japan which takes place annually on May 5. It is a day set aside to respect children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness. It has been a day of celebration in Japan since ancient times. Join us as we make bespoke cookies in celebration of this festivity! \nNote: This class is conducted mainly in the Japanese Language. English Recipes (adapted from Japanese version with partial translation in English) will be provided for non-Japanese speaking attendees. \nFor a full English class\, please enquire with us at info@alchemist.sg but kindly note that we will require at least 4 attendees to start a class. \nThank you for your interest and kind understanding. \n[Menu]\n☆ 3 Japanese carps designs\n☆ 2 Mochi with leaves designs\n☆ 1 helmet design\n☆ 1 iris design\n☆ 1 Congratulatory Word（祝）design (attached with straw)\nTotal 8pcs \n[Class Rundown]\n1) Practice basic piping techniques (lines\, dots\, curves etc)\n2) Hands-on –  icing the cookies\n– Basic piping technique\n– Flooding\n– Familiar patterns (possible application of dots\, arrow feathers\, flower patterns\, etc.)\nUse simple techniques such as how to paint\, how to clean the surface\, how to draw patterns\, so you can design it as you like.\nBy adding plus ribbons and ornaments like flowers you get a more sweet and cute result\, full of originality. In 2017\, she attained her diploma in Icing and started to teach in Muchen\, Germany. Now she teaches her specialty – icing class – at Spoonful Singapore. She cares deeply for the taste\, design as well as food safety of her cookies. Mizuho is a mother of two to a lovely boy and a sweet little girl. Her classes can be kid-friendly as she is also very interactive with young children.
