About the class

The power of “Shiokoji (rice salted malt)”.

The culinary instructor Naomi will demonstrate how to make the “Shiokoji” and she’ll talk about the benefits of associate Shiokoji in your dishes.

“Shiokoji” is a traditional Japanese ingredients also named the “miracle” ingredient, as it tends to enhance the food taste and flavor.

During the class, you will have the opportunity to compare the taste of dishes with and without Shiokoji.

In the end, we will assemble together all the “okazu” (dishes) to the Bento box.

About the Instructor
Naomi taught home style Japanese cooking at her home studio and at major Japanese Cooking studio in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore.
After working at popular Japanese restaurant in Singapore, she joined team Spoonful to be a Japanese cooking instructor. Now she enjoys teaching numerous fine, healthy home style cooking to Spoonful members!
