EASTER CELEBRATIONS AT REGENT SINGAPORE, A FOUR SEASONS HOTEL

SINGAPORE, March 2017 – With a talented culinary team and a tempting weekend room package, Easter time with the family will be filled with delicious dining experiences, and a promise of quality rest and recreation at Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel. 

Basilico, Level Two

Get right to the Easter celebrations with Basilico’s indulgent Easter Brunch. Partake in an all Italian spread which kicks off with a sumptuous variety of seasonal fare such as Thyme and Juniper Berry-crusted Roasted Baby Lamb, served with Artichokes, Sun-dried Tomatoes and Taggiasche Olives; Prosecco Franciacorta Carnaroli Risotto with Italian Scampi, Raspberries and Fresh Dill; and a “live” station delivering à la minute Asparagus and Robiola Cheese Ravioli with Egg Yolk and Norcia’s Black Truffle. Other highlights include a Seafood Bar with Alaskan king crab, poached lobsters and tiger prawns; a cheese room featuring over 50 varieties of Italian cheeses; as well as a Gorgonzola Bar with Chef’s very own infusions: truffle, dark chocolate and cherry wood-smoked, just to name a few.

The dessert buffet selection does not disappoint as Pastry Chef Alex Chong and his team bring Italian tradition to the table with the Colomba Pasquale, a soft, sweet Italian Easter bread fashioned in the shape of a dove. Also on the menu is the Pastiera Napoletana, another traditional Italian cake said to have been invented by a nun from a Neopolitan convent.

 

For the little ones

Keeping the kids entertained is a supervised Kiddies Playland, complete with a bouncy castle, arts & crafts, face painting, balloon sculpting and other fun activities such as an Easter Egg Hunt and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Parents can kick back to enjoy a fuss free brunch and relax while the kids are kept entertained.

Tea Lounge, Lobby Level

Look forward to family fun and a luxurious spread featuring Roasted Rack of Veal with Lavender and Rosemary, served with Caramelised Artichokes, Asparagus and 12 Year Aged Balsamico Jus; Boston Lobster and Queen Scallop Otah Otah; along with Orange Zest and Dill Salt-crusted Red Snapper with Fava Beans, Haricot Beans, Green Peas and Saffron Sauce. Dessert is a sweet feast with a “live” station for homemade Easter chocolate eggs, and a Chocolate Easter Garden showcasing Culinary Olympics gold medalist Pastry Chef Alex Chong’s Easter inspirations. In the mix of sweets to indulge in is the Rasperry Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and Exotic Fruit Coconut Tart, among others.

Other highlights to look forward to include a local counter featuring Regent Singapore’s famous laksa, Hainanese chicken rice, salad bar with Asian fusions, among others.

Dolcetto by Basilico, Lobby Level

From April 1 to 16, bunny-hop to Dolcetto by Basilico for delightful Easter treats, including the popular homemade Hot Cross Buns ($6/piece), a traditional spiced sweet bun with dried cherries for added texture.

Treat the little ones with our Pastry team’s creative Easter Bunny Bombolone ($6/piece) for a fun take on the Italian filled doughnut with two indulgently rich flavours: milk chocolate and almond or blueberries and custard filling.

Just for the family, Assistant Pastry Chef Pietrantonio (Piero) Ditrizio whips up an Amedei Dark Chocolate Easter Egg ($48), filled with mini hazelnut bonbon pralinés for a lovely 500g Easter surprise.

Manhattan invites guests to enjoy a laidback Easter Sunday with Singapore’s first adults-only cocktail brunch. Indulge in free-flow cocktails throughout the decadent four-hour brunch, perfectly complemented by a selection of gourmet bar bites.

Highlights include an Apricot Jam and Bourbon-glazed Ham as well as a succulent Oregano and Orange Rack of Lamb with Green Peas and Mint.
